25 January – 4 February paddle Macquarie Harbour with HWC ✅
February-March: We plan to do a 25 day circuit using hired e-bikes and a support vehicle around North Island, starting In Wellington. Trip booking is complete; coffee stop planning is underway; if you want to come you will need to book your own accommodation and bikes. ✅
August – September: Starting in Salzburg, hire e-bikes, ride the Salzkammergut Radweg, then head down to Italy via Lofer, Zell am See, Heiligenblut am Großglockner and Lienz. Thence to Dobbiaco, Misurina, Cortina d’Ampezzo, Caprile, Corvara, Brixen, St Giuseppe al Lago, Molveno, Tiene di Trento, Madonna di Campiglio, Ponte di Legno, Bormio, Glorenza, Merano, and back into Austria at Hochgurgl. Thence to Ochsengarten and finish in Innsbruck with a train back to Salzburg.

Plan for 2026
Visit Europe for 3 months. Buy an e-bike and ride lots: Cycle the length of the Pyrenees including the south-east corner around Cerbère and some crossovers into Spain, especially the Basque Country (Euskal Herria) and Catalonia. Stay in lots of AirBnBs in France, Spain and Italy. Ali planned tour in Spain in October? eg: El Camino del Cid (The Way of El Cid) from Burgos to Alicante? and Tour de Corse (Corsica) ? Afterwards, try and sell the batteries and ship the e-bikes home.
And Milos, Greece, sea-kayaking. ?
